Autumn Winter 18/19 Inspiration
The season’s inspiration comes from nature; the atmosphere and colours of the forest and the sea in winter. Motifs and textures are sourced from nature too, florals and foliage, velvet moss and bark, soft cloudy effects, mixed with new checks and tartan patterns, tradition interpreted in subtle contrasts and innovative materials, delightfully soft and suffused. Silver illuminates the surfaces like a dusting of frost or a sparkle of dew. A modern everyday collection with a natural elegance and luxurious appeal....
Melange predomintes in a range of deep forest tones; dark pine and lichen green, a jewel-like touch of peacock in kite blue-green. Rich redwood bordeaux. Shades of grey melange; anthracite, flannel grey, medium and light grey. From the winter sea comes a group of sofisticated blue-tones; hurricane, atlantis and cosmos blue. A cool neutral almond beige and pure white. Graphic black makes a come back.

Shapes and volume
Knitwear is essential and refined, with elegant proportions. Ribs lend to the slimmer silhouette. Cocoon shapes, cardigans and knitted jackets. Modern volume mixes, slim meets wide oversize, cropped with long. The season sees a return of double breasted blazers. Longer length coats and fitted jackets, some duffle coats and asymmetrics, A-lines. Sweater dressing, total look with knitted trousers, skirts and dresses for day and evening, with flannel details or sparkling trims. Jersey pieces are cut with fabric and cashmere knit, slipover shapes refined and luxurious. Pleats at the waist on trousers; legs are longer. Outerwear, some reversible, three-quarters and A-line, knit sleeves, warm stand-up collars and turn-up cuffs.
